 Covid Safety Policy

AN IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19

COVID has put significant pressure on everybody in the Hunter Region, and Seaglass Wellbeing and Art Therapy continues to follow safe practices initiated at the start of the pandemic.Clients are encouraged to wear masks during sessions if they prefer. Our premises and equipment are sanitised regularly and when possible, we practice social distancing. Gloves and hand sanitiser are provided if requested, and clients are encouraged to wash their hands regularly. Our rooms can only accommodate six people. Parents, carers, and support workers will only be able to stay in this space in pre-approved circumstances, but seating is available outside if needed. We request your patience and compliance during this time.Clients have the option of either face-to-face or online sessions, depending on their personal wishes and their requirements around self-isolating. Please let us know if you would like to switch to an online session when you receive your reminder text, we are happy to accommodate! If you wish to conduct all your sessions via Telehealth, please indicate this when booking your first appointment. As part of your agreement and treatment plan, we will then post the necessary materials to you. The cost of this will be covered by your first session. We are aware that Mental Health needs are high since the start of Covid. Please feel free to contact us to book additional sessions if you feel that you need this. Stay safe. Please contact us if you need help, advice, or assistance!
